Welcome to the Scott County School District Dyslexia Services Home Page! The goal of Dyslexia Services is to provide an effective and appropriate reading education to all students, including students with dyslexia. The responsibility of Dyslexia Services is to educate teachers, parents/guardians, and community members about dyslexia, assist in administration of the Dyslexia Screener for Kindergarten and First Graders, and provide dyslexia therapy to student's in the Scott County School District with formally diagnosed dyslexia. Please use the buttons on the left hand side of the page to navigate through our staff, information on dyslexia, the curriculum used for dyslexia therapy, information on the dyslexia screener, and parent resources. The Scott County School District Dyslexia Services division will be hosting several events throughout the year so be sure to check  this page often for updates.

  • The SCSD Dyslexia Services will be hosting a Dyslexia Therapy Parent Night for parents in the district who have students with formally diagnosed dyslexia. This event will take place July 20, 2021 at 6:00 o'clock in the evening at the Forest Public Library. Please bring a copy of the formal diagnosis of dyslexia with you to the Parent Night for documentation, copies can be made on-site if necessary for no cost to you.
